A Day in the Life of Laura

Every morning when I wake up, I get ready for school.  I take the public bus to get there.  I go to P.S.9, which is on 84th street.  It’s two blocks away from the, well-known Central Park, which has a zoo a Carousel, etc. It’s a great place for the family.

Also, two blocks north there is the Museum of Natural History, a great place for tourist to go with their kids.  It has history enjoyable for kids and adults.

There is also Broadway, which is two blocks from P.S.9.  It’s famous for it’s theaters and stores.  It has shows that are almost impossible to get tickets for, such as The Lion King, and The Phantom of the Opera. Broadway has many stores and restaurants people like to go to, but if you don’t like to shop you could always go to Lincoln Center and watch a ballet or concert.

If you’re a sports fan you can go to Yankee Stadium or Shea Stadium to watch a baseball game.  On 42nd street there is much to do.  If shopping is your life, you can go to the well known  Macy’s, a mall with tons of things to see, which also has a famous Thanksgiving Day Parade. Or you can visit The Empire State Building and have a view of the Manhattan skyline.
